Hi there 👋 , at SNAQ we support people with diabetes to better manage their blood sugar around meals. The award-winning app helps to count carbs, protein, and fat in meals by taking a photo, and supports by learning what keeps blood sugar levels in check after meals. This solves one of the biggest struggles for people living with diabetes.

We are a small team with diverse skills and big plans. Our mission is to reveal the impact of food on peoples health and we are looking forward to bring the app to millions of users. To support us on our journey, we are looking for a senior Flutter mobile engineer passionate about the subject. As a member of our small team you will have great impact in shaping the product, as well as the culture.

• You are a strong communicator and fluent in English. If you also speak German, that is a plus.

What you will do

• You lead and implement our transition from React Native + Vue to Flutter. In particular, that means you will start on a blank playground and you will own, specify, design as well as implement everything from scratch, exactly the way you like it.
• You participate in the ideation, creation, and deployment of upcoming product features.
• You own the entire lifecycle of our mobile app from specification, implementation, testing to eventually publishing it to the App and Play Stores. ****
• You constantly improve the quality by fixing bugs and refactoring the code base where necessary. We are all about taking a proactive role and ownership of our work.

Qualifications

• You are fluent in Flutter and it is not your first Flutter app. It’s a big plus if you have experience in bridging native code or a demonstrated interest in developing native iOS and Android apps.
• You have a working background with Flutter State management solutions like BLoC, Provider etc.
• You have a keen eye for design and usability and always strive to create the best possible UX.
• You have graduated with a BSc / MSc in Computer Science or similar.
